In a bizarre crossover event that challenges traditional predictions, the game developer has unveiled an digital crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, including free bonus story content for Shadows players.
Strange Adventure Revealed
According to the official announcement, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh adventure, where whispers of prohibited rituals and fearsome changes reverberate through the obscurity." The storyline presents a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystalline Cavern—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her companion from a secret group.
The adventure centers on "peculiar trials and a monstrous enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.
Iconic Places and Transformations
The preview highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview concludes with a striking moment showing a character, likely the hostage, morphing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
Unique Rewards and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana together with multiple items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, including:
