The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time unified heavyweight champion Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or declining opponents since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is really happening.
